Biking Haiku
On the trails of bohemian Golden Bay over Christmas 09, a few words were swirling around my mind about the experience and enjoyment of mountain biking. I wrote them down in haiku form and my partner Neil added 'Post Ride Feed'

Hills Steep hill, dig in deep over the top, hooning down adrenaline rush

Soundtrack Wheels crunching gravel tui song and wind through leaves banter with buddies

Nivrana Ride Epic route, clear skies friends and flowing singletrack sweet shared adventures

Post Ride Feed Sweet gallons of tea fruit, nuts, bars, buns and sarnies partially sated
